The location was perfect with a variety of charming shops and cafes within walking distance, such as Abbey Fine Wines for a lovely bottle of wine and Apples for Jam for some delicious treats. the sitting area was incredibly cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the town. the added bonus of a washing machine was a lifesaver, especially during the rainy weather. the electric kettle in the well-equipped kitchen was a thoughtful touch, making it easy to enjoy a cup of tea at any time. the proximity to the Abbey and other historical sites added to the overall charm of the area. I highly recommend the Toll House for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Melrose.
